Port Blair, Sept 06: Kesariya Hindu Vahini Andaman State Unit, has successfully completed the program on online Grievances and suggestion pertaining to Tourism Sector, in official whatup group of Keshariya Hindu Vahini Andaman Unit on 05/09/2020 at 0630 pm.
Mr. M Vinod, President, AATO interacted with General Public and members of Keshariya Hindu Vahini. In the program, Shri M Vinod, President, AATO informed that tourism industry was the first to closed and will be the last to open. AATO trying to get relief package for tourism industry. He pointed out there are lot of scope and in the recent times, it’s seen lot of New activities like sea kart, sea walk, few people submitted there new project. The Yart marine sanctioned by Govt of India. The two convention centre one is Dolphin resort, ANIIDCO and another is Singh group of hotel in Chidyatapu i..e., specialised in hosting the MICE traveller segment, Besides this hotel contain leisure facilities, full service accommodations etc, proposal for inter island Cruise required for new destination. Regarding Inviting the domestic and international tourist, Before that the Administration prepare for health infrastructure of islands.
The AATO requested fee waiver of interest, increasing moratorium period and financial assistance of Rs. 5000/- to all. The AATO never told to open tourism immediately, AATO request for SOP with stakeholders, after that it will decide when to start tourism. The AATO pointed out the major issue of SOP which is pending till date by UT Administration. The AATO received few reply from Ministry of Tourism and now they are waiting for UT Administration response which is pending more than 02 months.
The AATO will discuss with the concerned authority to open Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Island, Shaheed Dweep and Swaraj Dweep, North Bay, Wandoor etc open for focusing local tourist many others issued were discussed like EMI issue, LTC Open, proposal for open new island, sports fishing etc. Mr Vinod, President Quote “WE HAVE PUT ALL OUR EFFORTS AND TRUST ME THIS TIME WE WILL NOT LEAVE ANY STONE UNTURNED TILL WE GET SUCCESS”.
