Port Blair, August 21: Mr. Sanjay Meshack, ward councillor, Port Blair Municipal Council, expressed gratitude towards the intrepid service of police personnel of Pahargaon Police Station.
In his gratitude Mr. Meshak said that, the three personnel namely SI Dinesh Meena, P.C/ 430 Manikandan and H.G/76 D. Kartik Rajan, have bravely come forward to extend a helping hand for lifting dead bodies not just once but twice at ward no.23 in police van for dislodging it to mortuary. They stood beside the family members of the deceased at the time of extreme difficulty as there was no availability of any vehicle for transportation of dead bodies.
Such display of bravery in this time of chaos and fear manifests true humanity in itself.
