Mayabunder, August 20: Restrictions on issuance of petrol to the general public at Petrol Pumps following the lockdown has brought in hurdles for many residents of North & Middle Andaman.
They are even unable to go out to buy vegetables or take anyone to the hospital, in case of any emergency.
Many areas of the Middle Andaman which rely on small petrol outlets for fuel are the worst hit, as the petrol pumps have stopped issuing fuel to the small outlets of these areas on the directions of the Administration.
The residents of North and Middle Andaman have requested the administration to allow the petrol pumps to issue atleast minimum quantity of fuel to the public, as a lot of hardships are being faced by public living in various scattered villages of North and Middle Andaman.
