Port Blair, August 07: The interest of voluntarily designing Logos for various Departments and organizations has brought more laurels for, Mr Jag Jeevan Ram, the Section Officer of ICMR-RMCR, Port Blair after his designed logo for the recently merged Police Department of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu Police was selected by the UT Police as its official emblem.
Mr. Jag Jeevan Ram, popularly known as Jeevan or G1, has already designed logos of various departments/organizations of Andaman and Nicobar Islands as well as for the pioneer institutions situated at the mainland, that too without charging a single penny. He also designed logos for various international events too.
Earlier he was honoured with Andaman’s top honor “LG’s Commendation Certificate” twice for his selfless service in 2019 and 2020. On 26 January 2019 he was honoured with Spot LG’s Commendation Certificate for designing the 75 rupees coin to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra.
On 23rd January 2019 he was also honoured with Andaman Heroes Award, given by the Media Federation of A & N Islands.
“I am very fortunate that my design has been accepted by the UT Administration of Dadra Nagar Haveli and Daman Diu. Special thanks to Dadra Nagar Haveli and Daman Diu Police for finding my design suitable for their insignia,” Mr Jag Jeevan told Andaman Sheekha today. The Section Officer uses his aesthetic service completely on an honorary basis.
