Mayabunder, July 21: With the aim that Coronavirus doesn’t stop the progress, the North and Middle Andaman District has restarted all the developmental works from this week which were halted due to Corona Virus lockdowns and restrictions.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha, the District Commissioner, North and Middle Andaman, Dr. Angel Bhati Chauhan said that keeping in view the larger interest of the public, all the works that remained suspended due to the Corona impact have been restarted.
“Several applications are pending in the Revenue Department for registration, land sale etc and hence, it is the right time to take the call,” Dr. Chauhan said.
She further added that she is all set to call up a meeting with the Head of Departments and Public representatives to know the ground realities of the region.
“I am hoping to receive all support from the general public and officials to fight back against Coronavirus and move forward towards our progress,” Dr. Chauhan lastly added. She mentioned that all development works started following prescribed guidelines of ministry regarding observing social distancing.
