Port Blair, July 16: A day before the Bharatiya Janata Party’s mega protest following alleged harassment on two senior leaders of BJP on the Patwari Attack Issue during encroachment eviction in Sagar Dweep Island, the Pradhan and senior leader of BJP, Mr. Shankar Das, who is said to be the main accused of the issue, finally surrendered himself to the Aberdeen Police Station today after remaining absconding for these many days after the incident.
As per reports, the Pradhan finally took this step because his bail plea was rejected by the Hon’ble Court recently. Sources in the police told Andaman Sheekha that the Pradhan, Keralapuram, Mr. Shankar Das escaped to Port Blair and was hiding at his friend’s house, after a FIR was registered against him.
