Port Blair, June 15: Mr. G. Kishan Reddy, the Minister of State for Home Affairs, the National Secretary –BJP & Prabhari A & N Islands Mananiya Mr. Tarun Chugh, the State President BJP –A & N Islands Mr. Ajoy Bairagi as well as the Former State President, BJP-A & N Islands Mr. Vishal Jolly, addressed around 3400 people of A & N Islands today in a “JAN SAMWAD” Virtual Rally through Audio Conferencing.
The audio conference was organized jointly by the BJP Central Office at New Delhi and the State Unit of Bharatiya Janata Party in a short notice and therefore only 3400 names and phone numbers could be accommodated, however in the forthcoming rallies more and more people will be accommodated.
The above named leaders discussed various issues pertaining to the developments which have taken place in A & N Islands during the tenure of BJP-led Central Government under the leadership of the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and also about the future plans and schemes which are likely to be implemented in these Islands.
The leaders also addressed the public about all the steps taken by the State Unit of Bharatiya Janata Party during the entire lockdown period of COVID-19 pandemic, such as distribution of Free Ration kits, Face Masks, Sanitizers. A specific mention about the Atma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan as well as about the Letter of the Hon’ble Prime Minister addressed to the Nation was also made. The audio conference lasted for about 49 minutes.
