Billyground, May 15: The District Administration of North and Middle Andaman has imposed a penalty of Rs. 5000 on a Physical Education Teacher of GSSS Swadesh Nagar, Middle Andaman for allegedly violating quarantine orders. As per details the teacher had reached Billyground recently and as per SOP, he was ordered to remain in home quarantine for 14 days but later he was seen roaming in market. On complaint the Deputy Commissioners of N & M Andaman, Mr. Awanish Kumar reportedly ordered the concerned Patwari to take necessary action against the teachers. Soon a penalty of Rs. 5000 was imposed on him. The officials intimated the teachers that more actions will be initiated against him, if he violates the quarantine orders again.
