Port Blair, Apr 30 : Andaman and Nicobar Islands, which did not record any COVID19 positive case in last four days has now decided to allow movement of stranded Islanders in different locations to their respective places.
Although all modalities have not been made public yet, but it is believed that Islanders stranded in different parts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands as well as various other states will be allowed to reach to their respective places as one time case.
“Working on transferring stranded to their respective places, as a 1 time effort,” the Chief Secretary of Andaman and Nicobar Administration informed Islanders via a tweet.
The news was made public on a day when one more COVID19 positive patient tested negative, taking the number of active COVID19 cases to 17.
