Port Blair, Apr 27: The Indian Coast Guard today said that the weather forecast has predicted formation of low pressure area over southern parts of Andaman Sea and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal around 30 Apr 20.
“It is likely to intensify further during subsequent 48 hours and expected to move North-Northwestwards along and off Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Under its influence, heavy rain, squally winds and very rough sea conditions are likely to remain over Andaman sea from 30 Apr to 04 May 20. In view of the above, it is requested that the fishermen may be advised not to venture into sea from 29 Apr to 04 May 2020,” the communication from Indian Coast Guard said.
