Port Blair, Mar 8: The Chief Secretary, A&N Adminstration, Mr. Chetan B. Sanghi along with the Senior Officers of the Administration today visited Swaraj Dweep and reviewed the progress of the arrangements being made in connection with the ensuing visit of the President of India to A&N Islands, tentatively during the last week of this month. The Chief Secretary took stock of the progress of the road construction works, electricity, sanitation etc. and gave necessary directions to the concerned Officers to ensure timely completion of the works.
The Director General of Police, Mr. DependraPathak, Principal Secretary (Home), Mr. KR Meena, PCCF (Wildlife), Mr. MK Shukla, Commissioner-cum-Secretary (PWD), Mr. V. Candavelou, Secretary (Tourism), Mr. SK Singh, Deputy Commissioner, N&M Andaman, Mr. Awanish Kumar, Superintendent of Police (SA), Mr. Manoj C, SE, APWD and SE Electricity also accompanied the Chief Secretary during the visit.
