Port Blair, Feb 26: The meeting of the District Level Task Force Committee [DLTFC] under PMEGP scheme of KVIC was held today in the conference hall of the District Office, A&N Administration here. The DLTFC was chaired by Shri Kishore Kshirsagar Lakshman, ADM / SDM [SA], A&N Administration whereas Shri S. Bagchi, Deputy Director (Dev-I), Directorate of Industries, Shri Aroop Majumdar, Industries Promotion Officer, DIC, Shri Manoranjan Kr. Keshri, Chief Manager [Credit], Regional Office, SBI, Shri Apurba Ch. Roy, Pramukh, Prothrapur, Shri Babul Das, Pradhan, Netaji Nagar, Little Andaman, Shri S.Irulappan, Manager, Syndicate Bank, Shri Mohammed Tarique Shah, DYC, NYKS, and Shri G.S.Rajan, Asst. Project Officer, DBRAIT were the other members present during the meeting.
During the meeting, the loan proposals of 49 beneficiaries (23 cases of KVIB and 26 cases of DIC) were recommended by DLTFC with a total financial involvement of Rs. 324.06 lakh as total project cost for consideration of finance under PMEGP scheme during the current financial year 2019-20. Some of the projects which were recommended during the DLTFC meeting are purchase and ply of tourist vehicle, auto rickshaw, general sales outlet, coaching centre, event management, manufacturing of readymade garments etc.
All these 49 loan cases are now being forwarded online to the concerned bank branches of Commercial Banks for consideration of finance under the captioned scheme.
