Port Blair, Feb 23: A bush fire was reported from the Jogger’s Park area on Friday afternoon. As per reports, on information, a team of Aberdeen Fire Station in one fire tender rushed the spot and with water spraying and fire beating they controlled the fire by 12:20 pm.
The fire had spread in a large area but the timely intervention of fire brigade personnel and also the support of the locals averted the fire in no time.
