Port Blair, Sept 05: Mr. R. Mohan, State President in a letter addressed to the Commissioner cum Secretary (Education) and copy forwarded to the Director of Education has conveyed that during his recent interaction with the NCC cadets and its Commanding Officer it is learnt that the due less awareness of the students about NCC, they are not coming forward to join the same.
Since a lot of concessions are given to NCC cadets at the time of recruitment in defence and police establishments, he has requested them to give due publicity among the students and make them eligible for such posts as well.
