Port Blair, Dec 30: The CCWS Ltd., is a one of the oldest Cooperative Society of A&N Islands. It was established in the year 1948 with motto of price control to provide goods at lower to poor and needy. Since the year of establishment, this society was functioned under the Congress party supported group of director and it is the first time in the history of the CCWS Ltd., the Congress party supported members was defeated by the BJP supported members.
The BJP supported members won the election with a largest margin. The Bharatiya Janata Party, A&N Islands Mr. Vishal Jolly, State President, BJP, A&N Islands, extended his warmest congratulations to the new elected directors of CCWS Ltd., Mr. Om Prakash, Mr. Nand Kishore Singh, Mr. M Veeranna, Mr. Samant Rao, Mr. A.K Hazra, Mr. V. D. Malhotra, Mr. Jeevan Ram, Smti. Urmila Devi, Smti. Madhu Lall and Smti. Harlok Lal.
Also Mr. Vishal Jolly have thanked the members and the voters of CCWS Ltd., who supported the new directors. Further, he wished the new directors to work towards the welfare of every common man and development of A&N Islands on the motto.
