Port Blair, Sept 03: Mr. D. Ayyappan, General Secretary, Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers’ Association on 31st August, 2012 met the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and expressed concern over the undue delay in undertaking the cadre restructuring of the Forest Clerical Cadre.
He told the PCCF that even after more than two years of the restructuring of the Amalgamated Clerical Cadre in the Secretariat, the restructuring has not been carried out in respect of Forest Clerical Cadre. He conveyed to the PCCF the growing discontentment and anger among the Clerical Staff in the Forest Department as there is all-round stagnation among the Clerical Cadre employees in the Forest Department due to limited scope for promotion.
Mr. D. Ayyappan requested the Chief Secretary to take immediate steps to undertake the re-structuring of the Forest Clerical Cadre.
