Port Blair, Oct 15: The District Level Kala Utsav- 2019 was organized at the Community Hall of Gram Panchayat Pokkadera on 15.10.2019 by the District Project Officer, Maybunder. Mr. G.K. Rai, Vice Principal, i/c DEO Mayabunder was welcomed the Chief Guest, Judges, Teachers and participants of all the three Zones. The Chief Guest Mr. Biswanath Bain, Block Development Officer, Mayabunder was inaugurated the programme by lightening of traditional lamp and expressed his views of different art forms of Kala Utsav. All over 24 students were performed in 4(Four) different art forms i.e, Solo Dance, Solo Music, Solo Instrumental music and Solo Painting. All the winners were awarded with Rs.1500/- cash and certificate by the District Project Officer. The programme came to end with vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Sudip Kumar Halder, PST, DEO Mayabunder.
