Port Blair, Oct 13: In order to curb down the theft, late night accidents and miscreants, police teams of PS Pahargaon, PS Chatham and Aberdeen under the direction of SP District organised a special drive and arrested nearly 35 people found involved in late night roaming under mischievous circumstances.
Lot of complaints were received from local people that some groups of boys create mischief late night and mostly many thefts are occurring in various localities of Port Blair city.
According to public, this drive by police is highly appreciable and this must be conducted regularly so that the miscreants of the society could be kept under control.
The SP of South Andaman district Mr. C.Manoj was present on the field during the drive.
