Port Blair, Sept 27: Indiatourism Port Blair, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India celebrating Swachhta Hi Seva on the occasion of World Tourism Day 2019 on 27th September, 2019 at 7am on the most prominent location of Port Blair on the stretch of 200 meter next to Horn Bill Nest towards Carbyn’s Cove Beach with Plantation Project. The program was attended by various travels and tourism fraternity members from Tour operators to hoteliers of the island for the humanity work and the Chief Guest of the program was Mr. Prasanta Kumar Chowdhury (I.P.S), Deputy Commissioner of Police, Barrackpore Commissionerate, West Bengal inaugurated the plantation program and also boosted up the spirit of the participants with his motivational experiences for betterment of tourism services along with promotion of tourism in the islands. Deputy Commandant C.I.S.F. CASO, Terminal Manager VSI Airport, President ANTSA, Sr. Manager ANIIDCO, Senior Citizen Mr. Iqbal Mohammed Khan were among the volunteers for the noble cause.
