Port Blair, Sept 27: Mr. N.K. Udhaya Kumar, Chairperson, PBMC accompanied by Smti Protima Banerjeen, SVC, Mr. I.P.Singh, Mr. B.Eswar Rao, Councillors alongwith officials of the Council visited Junglighat area. Smti Protima Banerjee, SVC briefed the Civic Chief about the miserable condition of the road leading towards burial ground. She also informed about the ongoing works of re-surfacing / renovation of the same. The Chairperson viewed the ongoing works and directed the officials present with to speed up the works and complete it in a time bund manner. He further directed the officials to take up renovation of all other roads also which are under the jurisdiction of the Council as most of the roads were damaged due to massive rainfall for the past few months.
