Port Blair, Sept 20: The Government of India, Ministry of Personnel Public Grievances & Pensions, New Delhi has decided to conduct nationwide Pension Adalat by each Ministry/Department/Organisation/ field formation on 23.08.2019. The main objective of these adalats would be prompt and quick redressel of pensioner’s grievances of all the retired officers & staff of their departments, particularly those who retired prior to 01.01.2016, with respect to non-revision of their Pension, as per 7th Central Pay Commission recommendation.The Director of Fisheries, Port Blair has decided to hold Pension Adalats in the conference Hall of this Directorate on Sept 30, 2019 at 10.30 a.m. during office hours for quick redressel of pensioner’s grievances. All the Pensioners retired from Fisheries Department should report to the Directorate from where their pension has been settled, for disposal of their grievances. All the Pensioners or his/her representatives including those who retired prior to 01.01.2016 are requested to kindly attend the above along with grievances on the date and time indicated above.
