Port Blair, Sept 16: The Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers’ Association, A & N Islands mourns the untimely demise of Com. ABDUL SALAM, Assistant Wireman, Wildlife Division, Forest Department and a resident of Calicut, South Andaman. He was 55 years old and is survived by his wife and a son and a daughter. He died at the District Hospital, Garacharma on 9th September, 2019 after a massive heart attack. Com. Salam was the General Secretary of Wildlife Employees Union (CITU). The Association pays rich tributes in his memory.
