Port Blair, Jan 23: The District Governor – 3291, Rtn. Anshuman Bandhopadhyay along with the District officials and Rtn. Pedro Euclides Utzig, team leader of Group Study Exchange Team from Rotary District 4730 (Brazil), who are currently on a visit to Port Blair, called on today Mr. Shakti Sinha, Chief Secretary, Andaman & Nicobar Administration in his office.
During the inter-action, which lasted for 30 minutes, the Chief Secretary gave an overview or the islands and while the members of the team from Brazil appreciated the beauty of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and the pleasure they have had during their stay in the islands.
They also shared information about their own country and the purpose of the visit to India and to the islands. Meanwhile, the Rotary District Governor – 3291 reiterated Rotary’s support in any project in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
