Port Blair, Aug 22: Two men, who belong to Andaman & Nicobar Islands, stabbed a taxi driver, in the early hours of Wednesday i.e. 21st August, 2019 at Sulur in Coimbatore City, Tamilnadu.
As per reports, the victim hails from Dindigul and identified as P. Vasanthakumar. Sources informed that the two assailants, who hail from Andaman & Nicobar Island, also took away the car of the taxi driver after committing the crime.
It is learnt that later the Tiruppur City and Rural police arrested R. Thirumurugan (19) by chasing the stolen car. However, they failed to catch his accomplice K. Konguswamy (25) as he managed to escape. Sources informed that search is on for the other accomplice. The reason behind committing the crime is yet to be known. (With inputs from The Hindu).
