Port Blair, July 14: On Friday night a seven month pregnant patient with heavy hemorrhage required blood at Diglipur CHC.
It was late night it was becoming difficult to arrange AB+ blood and hence message was passed to PS Diglipur. Soon Jawans of Diglipur contacted people and arranged three bottles of blood, including one donated by a police Jawans of PS Diglipur. Considering the remoteness and late hour requirement such help by PS Diglipur was lauded by Public.

As per public, the CMO and lady Medical Officer of CHC Diglipur also put great efforts and arranged special Helicopter for airlifting the patient and ran whole night for arranging blood.
