Four Year Integrated Courses in Education is a dual degree programme designed as integrated programmes of Teacher Education aimed to prepare competent teachers for school education. Candidates seeking admission to these courses must have passed 10+2 examinations of a recognized Board in the concerned subject. It is of four-year duration organized on the semester pattern with two semesters in each year with total eight semesters.
The course of study includes general education consisting of language (Hindi and English) and specialized subjects. The professional part of the course consists of studies in the foundations, general and special methodology and a comprehensive internship programme in the field. It is a course of highly specialized nature in Teacher Education where a student is given specialized training to become a teacher soon after he completes schooling along with academic subjects.
Candidates desirous of taking admission in these courses can apply online by accessing the portal via URL http://collegdadmission.andaman.gov.in up to 25th June 2019. From the previous academic year, Hindi and History are added under B.A.B.Ed. programme.
