Biliground, June 06: Tuesday night at around 10 PM, a Tata Sumo driver experienced steering lock, while coming towards Betapur. As result the van skidded out of the road and collided with an electric pole near the turning of Swadeshnagar Bridge.
The owner of the vehicle, Mr. Prakash Tigga, resident of Betapur, who was driving the vehicle, survived the accident with minor injuries.
As per details after the accident the information was passed to the Electricity Department so that they switch off the power on the electric lines, which were connected with the electric pole and within 20 minutes it was done. But surprisingly the power was restored in the entire area only by 3 PM next day.
Meanwhile, it is learnt that the PS Billyground has registered a case under relevant sections of law, in this regard.
