Port Blair, Aug 08: Kuldeep Rai Sharma, President of Pradesh Congress Committee met the employees of ANIFPDCL on Friday. Mr. Lally Baby, the Secretary of VVEA described about the pathetic condition of ANIFPDCL employees. The PCC president told all employees of ANIFPDCL that he is trying his level best to get the employees of the Corporation out of this unwanted situation and has already sent a letter to the Honble Prime Minister of India, giving detailed picture of the Corporation.
While talking to the employees, Mr. Sharma has also informed them that apart from the efforts of the Congress Party, the Lt Governor of the AN Administration has also taken initiatives to take over the Management of the Corporation under his Administration.
He assured the employees that his Party is always in favour of the revival of the Corporation and he will send a reminder to the Prime Minister to speed up of the handing over procedure and to allow all benefits of the 6th Pay Commission.
Later, Mr. Sharma met the Managing Director of the Corporation, Mr. Tarun Coomar and discussed on the various issues relating to the Corporation to be taken up with the Ministry of Environment and Forest.
