Diglipur, Apr 09: A wild fire has been reported from the Madhupur area of Diglipur today. By the evening the fire reportedly spread over 2000 sq. mtr area but mainly over bushes.
It is believed that while someone was clearing forest land for illegal use, the fire must have gone out of control. As during election seasons, most of the government officials are too busy in election preparedness such wild fire reportedly did not get enough attention, villagers alleged.
