Port Blair, Mar 11: In yet another raid conducted by the team of Police Station CCS today, one person was arrested with more than 4 KG of Ganja. According to reports the accused, Shambhu used to bring Ganja to Port Blair from Mainland India and distribute the same among local youths.
Following a tip off, a team of PS CCS laid a trap and arrested him red handed with more than 4 kg of Ganja in his possession.
Ganja addiction and Ganja peddling has become one of the worst problems of these Islands as even students are now involved in Ganja consumption. Many reports already suggest that Ganja has reached inside local colleges and schools and raids like these, are need of the hour. The PS Aberdeen has also seized nearly 4 KG of Ganja recently. The Andaman and Nicobar Police must continue this crack down on drug peddlers to free these islands from the curse of Ganja menace.
