Port Blair, Mar 03: A 43 year old person on Friday illegally entered inside INS Utkrosh, one of the most important Naval Bases of A & N Islands, to take a flight for mainland but neither he had ticket for any flight nor money to buy ticket.
According to reports Mr. Parulus Minj, the person desperately wanted to go to mainland to see his ailing mother but he was not having any tickets.
Sources said nearly two months back he came to the INS Utkorsh gate near Corbyn’s Cove and asked permissions from guards to enter inside, after which he was driven away.
This time however, he took the route of a drain, which is located close to the INS Utkrosh gate near Corbyn’s Cove, to enter inside INS Utkrosh. As security is always tight in the area, he was soon detected and arrested.
He was later handed over to the police and was also interrogated by Joint Interrogation team of Security Agencies. Sources said that the person was under massive psychological stress.
Although this seems to be a minor issue, but security agencies are not taking any chance looking at the tension between India and Pakistan. As per law he was arrested on the charges of trespassing and was sent to Judicial Custody.
