Port Blair, Feb 08: A youth of Swaraj Dweep has been arrested by Andaman and Nicobar Police under POCSO Act on 5th February 2019 for marrying a minor girl and impregnating her.
As per details, the matter came to the light when the minor girl came for a check-up at G B Pant Hospital, where doctor confirmed pregnancy and also found that the girl is a minor. On report, the youth (The husband of the minor girl), was arrested.
