Port Blair, July 31: Court of Judicial Magistrate First Class and Civil Judge (Junior Division) will start functioning at Kalra Junction, Diglipur with effect from 6th August, 2012.
This will be a Circuit Court to be presided over by the Judicial Magistrate First Class –cum- Civil Judge (Junior Division), Mayabunder. The Circuit Court after it’s inauguration will be held once in a week on every Firday and the cases. Both civil (upto the pecuniary jurisdiction of Rs. 60,000/- and criminal cases will be dealt with.
The Hon’ble Mr. Justice Soumitra Pal, Judge, High Court, Calcutta and judge In- charge, Andaman & Nicobar Islands has kindly consented to inaugurated the Circuit Court in a simple function to be held on 6th August in the premises of new court Building at Kalra Junction, Diglipur.
