Port Blair, Dec 31: In yet another case of suicide in Andaman, a 29-year-old man Saravana S/o. N. Karpaiah, R/o Pathergudda reportedly committed suicide by setting himself on fire yesterday.
According to reports the matter was reported at around 11.30 AM at Pathergudda, outside his house.
After information a team of PS Pahargaon reached the spot and took the person to hospital with nearly 95 % burn injuries. Later the person succumbed to his burn injuries at the hospital. The reason behind the man taking this extreme step is not yet known.
