Port Blair, Dec 28: The Hon’ble Prime Minister, Mr.NarendraModi is scheduled to be on a two day visit to the A & N Islands on December 29th and 30th, 2018. The visit of the Hon’ble Prime Minister is a part of the 75th anniversary celebration of hoisting of Tricolor by NetajiSubhash Chandra Bose on Indian Soil
on 30th December 1943 at Port Blair.
As a Public Service Broadcaster, Doordarshan will be covering this historical event LIVE during the Hon’ble PM’s visit to the National Memorial Cellular Jail laying wreath at the Martyrs Column; Dedication of 150 ft high Flag Mast at South Point; Floral Tributes at the statue of Netaji at Marina Park and thereafter his
participation in the public function at Netaji Stadium on 30th December 2018. All these events will be telecast LIVE on DD National, DD News, DD Port Blair and other DD channels from 1510 hrs to 1745 hrs or till end.
