Port Blair, Dec 26: As a measure to save the environment from pollution and keep the Islands clean and green three Plastic Bottle Crushing Units received from M/s Make My Trip were installed at Passenger Halls of Port Management Board at Haddo, Neil and Havelock Islands. The Andaman Chamber of Commerce & Industry have installed and will be maintaining these machines. M/s MAK Logistics will be collecting the crushed bottles from the respective places and transporting to Port Blair. PBMC has been kind enough to agree to collect these crushed plastic bottles transported from Havelock and Neil and accepted at Haddo and transport for safe disposal of these bottles.
Mr. Girish Arora, President, and all Members of the Andaman Chamber of Commerce & Industry heartily thank the Port Blair Municipal Council, M/s Make My Trip and M/s MAK Logistics for enabling the Andaman Chamber of Commerce & Industry in installing these Plastic Bottle Crushing Units at Haddo, Havelock and Neil Islands, as said by Mr. Girish Arora, President in a press release.
