Port Blair, Dec 21: GSSS Oralkatcha, Baratang on Friday 21st of December, 2018 organized 51st Annual Athletic meet 2018 at the forest ground of Oralkatcha.
Mr. Alagar Swamy, Zilla Parishad Member, Baratang was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Mr. Anand Bengra, Member of Panchayat Samiti, Mr. Satish, Up-Pradhan, Nilambur Panchayat were the Guests of Honour.
The closing ceremony was organized at 2.30 PM in which Mr. Mohamed Irshad Ahmed, AD (sports), Rangat Zone was the Chief Guest while Mr. Biju Gurudasan, Pradhan, Sundergarh Gram Panchayat, Baratang and Mr. P.Moideen Kutty, SHO, PS Baratang were guests of honour.
Several Sports were organized during the Athletic meet for students and also for the teachers. A colourful cultural programme was also organized during the meet. Prize distribution ceremony was organized at the evening, in which winners were given prizes and certificates.
