Port Blair, Dec 05: The New India Assurance Co Ltd, the largest general insurance company having its operations all over the world is celebrating its 100th Anniversary this year.
As part of this celebrations, under the initiative and guidance of Mr. M K Ravikrishnan Joint Regional in-charge, Chennai, NIA has organized a ‘Traffic Awareness Campaign’ at Port Blair, A&N today 05.12.2018.
A Public meeting was arranged at Tiranga Maidan this morning and Mr.Arjun Prasad, Inspector of Police (Traffic), Mr. D.Satyamoorthy, Dy Chief Engineer, ALHW, Dr.Masood Ahmed, Manager NIA, C.Freddy Armstrong SDM, Mr.R Ravichandran SBM, other officials and general public attented it. Following this a Bike Rally was flagged off from Cellullar Jail covering major arterial roads of Port Blair to create awareness on safe driving.
Free Helmets were distributed to the participants by the New India Assurance Co. Ltd and also Road Safety Insurance policies were provided.
