Port Blair, July 25: Dr. Syeda Hameed, Member of Planning Commission along with Smt Vandana Kumari Jena, Sr. Advisor, Planning Commission today held detailed discussions on various issues relevant for the growth and development of the Islands in the conference hall of Raj Niwas.
Presentations on major development initiatives/projects of the A&N Islands and issues discussed in the meeting of Standing Committee (03.05.2011) and Island Development Authority (15.06.2011) was given before Dr. Syeda Hameed, Member of Planning Commission during the meeting. The Chief Secretary and other senior officers of the Administration were also present.
