Tarrasa, Nov 02: People living in remote Teressa Island of Nicobar District are facing difficult times due to non availability of petrol and diesel, since last nearly 21 days. The ANIIDCO reportedly runs a fuel outlet at Teressa Island but as the said fuel outlet has also dried up people are unable to use their own vehicle for any purpose. To some extent, functioning of some departments has also suffered a hit.
When contacted sources told Andaman Sheekha that due to VIP movement there was some delay in arranging ship to transport fuel to Teressa but now the ANIIDCO is trying its best to make sure that fuel reaches Teressa Island soon.
