Port Blair, Oct 23: District Industries Centre is receiving online applications for loan under PMEGP which became operational since 1st June 2016 and no manual applications are accepted since then. Interested applicants may submit PMEGP loan applications to the implementing agencies like DIC/KVIB under PMEGP scheme at www.kviconline.gov.in . However, the applicant from remote areas and Islands where internet connectivity is weak can submit filled in hard copy of the applications to the agencies for upload the same in website.
While starting to enter the details and submission of the online application, one needs to keep copy of some documents and details ready such as copies of Aadhaar Card, One passport size photo, Two Phone/Cell numbers, e-mail ID, Local/Islander card, Project Report/Quotation, PAN no, OBC Certificate, Special category Certificate etc as the case may be.
As per District Level Taskforce Committee (DLTFC) procedure, it is expected that within two working days of the online submission, the applicant will submit the printout copy of the application along with the copies of the documents uploaded to the agency like DIC/KVIB. The nodal agency then will interact with the applicant and confirm the receipt and acceptance of the online application for preliminary scrutiny. The nodal officer will do all the required correction in the application in consultation and cross checking with the applicant and also provide hand holding service to the applicant.
The implementing agencies like DIC/KVIB will place and forward all the applications received online to the District Level Task Force Committee chairman headed by Deputy Commissioner of the concerned district for interview, decision and recommendation. The implementing agencies will forward the applications online to the concerned Bank/Bank branches for sanction and disbursement of the loan instalment. After online sanction and before release of the first instalment, the applicant has to undergo 10 days Entrepreneurship Development Programme. On submission of the copy of the EDP certificate to the Bank, the bank then will process and release the first instalment of the loan amount.
