Port Blair, Aug 24: To facilitate the students of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, the IGNOU Regional Centre is organizing special video classes on every Saturday. Basically, we remember 50% of what we see and hear. On 25TH August 2018, during forenoon session 10 am – 1pm the CD on the topic NEWSPAPER LAYOUT AND DESIGN, VIEWS ON REPORTING – MARK TULLY, IMPACT OF TV VIOLENCE ON CHILDREN, CHANGING MEDIA SCENARIO( English Medium) will be played. Similarly during post lunch session 1pm – 4pm for INCIDENCE AND MANAGEMENT OF NUTRITIONAL DEFICIENCY DISORDERS, EFFECTIVE MANAGEMENT OF FAMILY RESOURCES, WOMEN EMPOWERMENT, NUTRITIONAL DEFICIENCY DISORDERS PT.I& PT.II (English Medium) will also be played. The video class will be held at first floor of Kannada Sangha Building, IGNOU Regional Centre, Mohanpura. Each topic specific video CD will be of 30 minutes duration. The students of Bachelor of Arts (BDP) who opted Journalism and Nutrition as their subjects are informed through SMS / e-mail from RC. If the student is not able to attend Saturday video class, he/she may also visit RC on any working day from Monday to Friday between 10.00 am – 1.00 pm and 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm to see the video lectures.
