Port Blair, Aug 13: The murder case of G. Selvi, aged 40 yrs R/o Ranchi Basti, Lamba Line, has taken a dramatic turn now. The Andaman and Nicobar Police today, in a hurriedly called press conference, claimed to solve Selvi murder case but later the Member of Parliament reached the venue with family members of late G Selvi and demanded CBI probe in this entire matter.
Earlier, in the press conference the SP, South Andaman, Mr. Vijay Singh said that with hard work and after conducting thorough inquiry the Andaman and Nicobar Police rounded up many people but at last they zeroed in on a Juvenile boy, who reportedly accepted his guilt during counseling and from his possession gold ornaments of G Selvi, were found.
Although the police claims that the case is closed now but the family members and the Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, who crashed into the Press Conference clearly said that they are not happy with the investigation as they don’t believe that a minor boy can kill, an middle aged lady alone. Smelling fishy, the family members of G Selvi and the Member of Parliament are now demanding CBI probe into this matter.
