Port Blair, Aug 03: Under its outreach program, the Andaman & Nicobar Command will organize Multi-Specialty Health Camps at Campbell Bay Island on 7th of August 2018 and at Kamorta and Carnic Islands on 8th of August 2018 to provide healthcare facilities to the residents of these islands.
The Camps will be coordinated by Community Health Centre (CHC) Kamorta and CHC Campbell Bay. The team will be headed by Surg Capt MS Honwad, Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune. The team will be consisting of Dermatologist, Psychiatrist, ENT Specialist, Paediatrician, Dental Specialist, Medical Officers, Medical Assistants & Dental Hygienist of Campbell Bay and Carnic.
These camps are a part of ongoing initiative, to provide health care facilities to remote areas of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, under the directives of Vice Admiral Bimal Verma, AVSM, ADC, Commander-in-Chief, Andaman and Nicobar Command.
