Port Blair, July 19: Andaman Sheekha on 17 July issue had reported about a burglary case from Ravi’s Mobile & Karpagam Fancy Stores of Shadipur, following which an FIR was registered at PS Aberdeen.
Now the owner of the shop, taking this matter too seriously, solved this case himself and reached upto the accused, who were found to be juveniles. Later PS Aberdeen was informed about this development.
As per reports after burglary a few kids were found smoking cigarette near the shop and when some people scolded them and checked their bags, they found a few items, which resembles with the newly arrived stolen materials of the shop.
After questioning them, the shop owner found some clues and later with the help of CCTV footages the shop owner could identify a few suspect juveniles, seen around his shop with loaded bags.
When contacted the nearby orphanage, the incharge of the orphanage conducted a thorough search of all the inmates and later discovered most of the stolen items from the possession of three Juveniles. According to sources the Juveniles also had duplicate keys of the Orphanage and with the help of those keys, they used to go out of the Orphanage at night hours.
Later all the Juveniles were taken to PS Aberdeen for questioning by police. According to information further action will be taken by police as per Juvenile Justice Act against the Juveniles.
