Port Blair, June 27: Mr. Krishan Kumar, Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman, along with Mr. Sanjib Kumar Mandal, Zilla Parishad Member, Mithakari constituency, Mr. U.K Singh Executive Engineer, ZPSA, Mr. U.K Banerjee, Assistant Engineer, ZPSA visited Hathi tapu Jetty and inspected Sulice Gate, MI Pond, Community Hall under construction at Mithakhari Tsunami Shelter, and VKV Stadium, Port Mourt which is being carried out by the Engineering wing and necessary directions were issued to Executive Engineer, ZPSA in this regard. He further had an interaction with Panchayat Samiti Member, Up-pradhan, Sarpanch, all Ward Members of Gram Panchayat Mithakhari.
The Programme Manager of State Child Protection Society and officials of Child Protection Unit, South Andaman explained about the Child protection scheme and child friendly villages. The Chief Executive Officer/Secretary(SW) also visited Calvary Children Home.
