Port Blair, June 19: The Union Minister of State for External Affairs, Govt. of India, Mr. M.J Akbar will be arriving here on a two-day visit to the A&N Islands tomorrow. Soon after arrival, the Minister will visit the National Memorial Cellular Jail. The Minister is scheduled to visit ICAR-CIARI, Garacharma at 2 pm tomorrow to review the working of KVKs under ICAR-CIARI, Port Blair. He will also interact with the farmers there. Thereafter, the Minister will visit the KVK, South Andaman at Sippighat and interact with the farmers. On June 21, the Minister will attend the International Yoga Day Celebration programme at Govt. Girls Sr. Sec. School at 7 am. On completion of his visit, the Minister will depart for mainland on Jun 21 itself.
