Port Blair, July 10: The first state School level competition in connection with the inter school quiz competition “on the Topic Island Geography, sports and culture, Forest and environment and Tourism” was conducted at GSS Junglighat, Port Blair on the 09th July 2012.
The purpose of the competition was to create knowledge and awareness about our beautiful Islands. In this school inter house competition was conducted as per the direction of the Principal, SIE The following 04 Houses participated in the Quiz competition.
Group ‘A’ Megapode House, Group ‘B’ woodpecker House, Group ‘C Hornbill House and Group ‘D’ Kingfisher House. The students of all groups participated very actively and they secured 130 points, 140 points, 80 points and 105 points respectively. The winner team was Woodpecker House with 140 points and Megapode house stood second scoring 130 points.
