Port Blair, May 17: As 17 May is celebrated as 5th Art of Giving day across the globe, based on the theme, ‘Pyar Bhara Pack’ (Feeding with Love), in Andaman and Nicobar Islands also various programmes were organized today.
At Pranab Kanya Sangh, Port Blair, followers of Art of Giving today presented sweet packets to the inmates while at Seva Niketan, Dairy Farm, Mr. K. Duryodhan, Proprietor of Varsandi Marine Foods, Dairy Farm along with Mr. Pramod, R/o Prem Nagar, a PBMC sanitary casual worker distributed sweets. The programme of Seva Niketan was supervised by Mr. Surya Narayan, ASI, A & N Police, presently posted at Car Nicobar.
Art of Giving (AOG) – a philosophy of life to spread the peace and happiness among the people in the society was founded on 17thMay 2013.
