Port Blair, Apr 22: The Final Match of Sidmin Memorial Trophy organized by Hutbay special Group was held on 20 April 2018 in the RRO Ground of Hutbay. The total of 17 teams actively participated in the tournament.
Dr. Mohammed Rehan Raza, ADM South Andaman was the Chief Guest on this special occasion and Mrs. Nabeela Wali, Metropolitan Magistrate, East District Court, New Delhi was the Special Guest while the guest of Honour was Dr. S. Sunil Kumar, CMO, PHC Hutbay.
The final match was played between Power XI and Zilla RK Pur and the former came out as the winner. The closing Ceremony began with the welcome speech delivered by Mr. Umaan Khan, Gen. Secy. Hut Bay Special Group. Proceeding this Dr. Mohammed Rehan Raza gave away the trophy to the winning team ( PowerXI).
Interacting with the audience he applauded the players for their endurance and Sportsman spirit and he also expressed his gratitude towards the Hut Bay Special Group for organizing this great event.
Speaking on the occasion he also made the general public of Little Andaman aware about the Gram Swaraj Abhiyaan highlighting its benefits. The Programme concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by the renowned commentator Mr. O. Sulaiman.
